Arts and crafts anyone?

Sit down for a quiet moment and enter the Plover Appreciation Day Art Competition.

Our beautiful beaches are home to the endangered Hooded Plover, whose tiny, camouflaged nests need our care. As well as ‘Hoodies’, Red Cap Plovers and Masked Lapwings are to be found on our beaches all year round with the Migratory Double Banded and Pacific Plover returning each year to our beaches.
