Riverside Bush Camping

Riverside Campground offers a holiday with a difference that takes you back to the old bush camping experience. The bush camping experience includes shady native vegetation and wildlife, minutes to the beach, simple clean facilities, friends old and new and stunning sunsets. As a public land manager, we are proud to offer this simple and affordable camping experience to Victorians and visitors.
All campsites are unpowered, a range of sizes and many boast water views framed by native vegetation. Toilet and bathroom facilities are provided for campers. During peak periods in December and January, food vendors operate throughout the campground.
Operating Period
Our Riverside Campground operates for only certain periods of the year:
- Late December until the end of January (7 night min)
- Labour Day Weekend (3 night min)
- Easter Weekend (4 night min)
Location
The Riverside Camping Area is located only a few minutes from the Barwon Heads Caravan Park near the Ocean Grove Roundabout on the Ocean Grove – Barwon Heads Rd. There is no office within the Riverside Camping Area. All enquires should be made via the Riverview Family Caravan Park office.
On Arrival
Arriving at Riverside: When arriving for your Riverside Camping Holiday, please check-in at the Riverview Family Caravan Park office prior to setting up. This is important for emergency evacuation reasons.
