At Barwon Heads Caravan Parks we make every effort to look after the needs of all our guests. Don’t hesitate to let our friendly booking staff know of your special requirements and they will assist whenever possible.
A warm welcome
- Reception is open from 9 am to 6 pm every day except for Christmas day.
- Phone the park office on (03) 5254 1115 during office hours for assistance.
- After hours on Friday, Saturday or peak holidays the phone will divert directly to park security who will assist you.
- After hours mid-week & off peak, an emergency mobile number is provided with booking information.
Check-in & parking
Reception is located at the park entrance. When checking in please park in the yellow marked bays adjacent to the reception area for easy access. Access to the reception area is via a single doorway, if you require assistance with the door please ring our reception desk and we will happily meet you at your car.
When you stay in a Beach House or Cabin parking is available adjacent to your accommodation. All campsites allow space for one car per site.
Getting around the park
All paths throughout the caravan park are shared use for cars and pedestrians. The main drive through the park is a sealed and has multiple speed bumps and the speed limit in the park is strictly 5km to ensure the safety of guests. Other paths throughout the park are gravel.
No matter where you stay in the park you will have easy access to one of seven amenities blocks or six laundries. There are also several undercover BBQ areas and camp kitchens located close to the accommodation.
All abilities beach access
Barwon Heads Caravan Park is located on the picturesque banks of the Barwon River, where the river meets the sea. Every campsite and accommodation option is within a short walk of the water’s edge.
Closest to the Caravan Park you will find ramped beach access next to the Jetty which is close to the ‘At the Heads’ restaurant. An easy launching place for kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards. A ramp at toilet block 4 affords access to the promenade.
Accessible infrastructure and beach access are a priority for Barwon Coast.
- All-abilities ramped beach access with adjacent disabled parking is provided at Ocean Grove Main Beach.
- Ramped beach access is available at the Hodgson Street beach accessway in Ocean Grove.
- ‘Kurrak’ accessible playground is located adjacent to The Dunes Café at Ocean Grove Main Beach.
At Barwon Heads Caravan Parks our beautiful waterfront Beach House facilitates the needs of disabled guests. With stunning views out to Port Phillip Heads our accessible Beach House will provide an unforgettable beach escape.

The stunning Columbine Beach House (#533) facilitates the needs of our disabled guests with wide ramped access from the Beach House carpark, wide sliding entry doors, a flat deck area and wheelchair accessible bathroom. Stunning view and luxury are not compromised, like all our Beach Houses this accessible accommodation boasts sweeping sea views over the Barwon Estuary towards Port Phillip Heads and light filled living spaces.

Check-in time is 2pm and check-out time is 10am.
Camp Sites And Cabins Guarantee
The Barwon Heads Caravan Park reserve the right to move bookings to manage our business. Whilst we make every effort to provide guests with the accommodation requested, there are occasions when bookings may need to be moved to another site or cabin. If this occurs, we will make every attempt to notify guests of the change prior to their arrival, should time permit.
If the alternative accommodation is of the same standard (cabin) or at the same location (site), no refunds will be offered to guests and the cancellation policy will apply.
If the alternative accommodation is of a lower standard (cabin) or at a different location (different park) and this does not meet the accommodation needs of the guest, a full refund will be provided.
